DAY 1. MELBOURNE / INCHEON

Depart for Incheon (Seoul) with Korea Airlines flight KE126 at 9:15 am at Melbourne International Airport. Arrival time estimated to be approximately 7:10 pm local time. After ground formalities, you will be met and transferred for dinner.

DAY 2. INCHEON / EVERLAND / DAEJANGGEUM / SEOUL


After breakfast, you will be transferred to Yongin Everland (including Big 5 Ticket), a magical world of natural beauty and fairy tales. Each season, visitors are treated to flower festivals made from a kaleidoscope of tulips, roses, lilies or chrysanthemum. For thrill-seekers, take on the challenge of the Amazon Express water adventure, the Suspended Roller-coaster or the Double-loop & Cork-screw coaster. Good times are definitely to be had here! After Everland, you will visit Hwaseong Haenggung Palace where the TV Drama called 'Daejanggeum' was filmed. You will be able to witness all the movie scenes here at Haenggung Palace. Then continue on to Dongdaemun market, the well known shopping district in Seoul.

DAY 3. SEOUL

Breakfast to be provided. Then proceed to visit Kyeongbok palace which was built by Joseon Dynasty in 1394. After that, a visit to the Presidential Blue House. You’ll then go to Namsangol hanok village - a beautiful village, covering a site of 7,934 square meters. It is composed of three parts: a traditional Korean garden, time capsule plaza, and the village itself, which encases the traditional Korean houses or hanok from the Joseon Dynasty. Afterwards, you will go to Shinchon, an area where three major universities are located. Now, time to spend in this well known shopping area.. "Insadong street". Cheonggaecheon is next, where Seoul citizens are on a pleasant countdown to the 1st Oct - the “opening” of the restored Cheonggye cheon stream touted as the most successful urban facelift and environmental improvement project the capital city has ever seen.

DAY 4. SEOUL / MOUNTAIN SORAK

After breakfast, proceed to visit Mountain Sorak. Mt. Sorak National Park is considered one of Korea’s most beautiful mountains. We will then visit Shinhungsa Temple- one of the largest sedentary Buddha areas. Then visit Abai-maeul, where it has long served as a stage for TV dramas. Abaimaeul has became renowned internationally since the TV drama, ‘Autumn Love Story’ which was filmed here. The beautiful Sorak hot springs are next. Make sure you bring some swimming gear if you plan to enjoy the hot springs and sauna here!

DAY 5. MOUNTAIN SORAK / KYONGJU

Transfer to Kyongju, proceeding northward as you relax and enjoy the most scenic view of the eastern coast. Kyeongju is called a "museum without walls" because of the wealth of historical building and treasures to be found there. We then visit Pulguksa Temple, a major architectoural monument of the Silla Kingdom built more than a thousand years ago. Kyeongju National Museum holds a treasure house of Silla-era. Drop by Chomsongdae Observatory, a 7th Century bottle shaped stone structure known to be the worlds’ earliest observatory. See the Seokbinggo, a stone ice-house built during the reign of King Yeongjo in the Joseon Dynasty. You will also visit to Bomun Tourist Town to enjoy a great view of this local attraction, etc.

DAY 6. KYONGJU / PUSAN


Soon after breakfast, proceed by coach to Pusan. On arrival, continue your journey to visit some of the special places of interest in Pusan such as Yongdusan Park, the huge Jagalchi Fish market, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, etc..

DAY 7. PUSAN / OSAKA

Enjoy breakfast, then transfer to the airport for your Korean Airlines flight KE731 departing at 11:00 am for Osaka. After arrival at approximatley 12:20pm followed by ground formalities, you will be met and transferred to enjoy a photo stop at the Osaka Castle before checking-in at our hotel

DAY 8. OSAKA / NARA CITY / KYOTO CITY / TOYOHASHI / HAMAMATSU

This morning the group will make their way to Nara City. Upon arrival, we visit the famous Todaiji Temple and the Deer Park where you will be welcomed by many tamed deers that roam the temple grounds. Then we proceed to Kyoto City, a city brimming with historical and religious traditions. Enjoy a city tour and visit one of the Japan's most famous temples -- The Kiyomizu Temple, built in the year of 1633. This building has a huge veranda supported by hundreds of pillars without the use of nails. Next visit the beautiful Heian Shrine and we also visit the Nishijin Textile Center where you can watch a live Kimono Show. Afterwards we continue on our journey to Hamamatsu.

DAY 9. HAMAMATSU/MOUNT FUJI/HAKONE HOT SPRINGS/LAKE KAWAGUCHI

This morning, we board a bullet train from Hamamatsu to Kakegawa. At the station, our bus driver will pick us up and proceed to the foot of Japan's most magnificent mountain, Mount Fuji. If only weather permits, you can proceed to as far as the 5th station of this mountain.  Next, we proceed to the famous Hakone Hot Spring Resort.  Visit the Owakudani also known as the Hell Valley, a sulphurous pond.  Afterwards, enjoy a refreshing cruise along Lake Ashi and savour the beautiful scenery surrounding you.

DAY 10. LAKE KAWAGUCHI / TOKYO / THE GINZA/ TOKYO


Tokyo is on the agenda today! Upon arrival, we continue to have a tour of the largest city in Japan, Tokyo City. Begin your tour with a visit to Tokyo’s most celebrated temple in the ancient Asakusa district, the Asakusa Kannon Temple. Another charm of this landmark is its Nakamise Shopping Arcade. We then proceed to Tokyo’s finest shopping district, The Ginza. We then drive past the beautiful Imperial Palace and go up to visit Tokyo’s tallest tower- Tokyo Tower. After which we proceed to the modern Odaiba Palette Town, where we explore Venus Fort, a modern shopping arcade. The Toyota Megaweb where you can find the largest ferris wheel. In the evening, proceed to have dinner at local restaurant.

DAY 11. TOKYO / TOKYO DISNEYLAND/ TOKYO

Today we proceed to the happiest place on earth, the famous Tokyo Disneyland. You will be provided with a passport, which entitles you to unlimited rides. Enjoy in the park’s seven themed lands filled with exciting attractions, shops, restaurants and live entertainment.

DAY 12. TOKYO / INCHEON ( SEOUL) / MELBOURNE

Soon after breakfast, free time to explore until transfers to the airport for your Korea Airlines flight KE704 departing at 1:55 pm for Incheon ( Seoul ). Arrival at about 4:20 pm. We then connect up with Korean Airlines flight KE125 departing at 7:25 pm for Melbourne. ( B)

 

DAY 13. ARRIVE MELBOURNE

Your overnight flight arrives Melbourne at about 8:20 a.m. this morning, thus to conclude the whole journey.
