DAY 1 MELBOURNE / BEIJING via SINGAPORE Depart for Beijing via Singapore by Singapore Airlines flight SQ218 at 0:05 am to Singapore. Arrival at about 6:00 am and then connect up with Singapore Airlines flight SQ802 departing at 8:45 am for Beijing. Your flight will arrive into Beijing at about 2:55 pm. After ground formalities, you will be met and transferred to BEST WESTERN PREMIER HOTEL (
DAY 2 BEIJING Another whole day in Beijing to visit Forbidden City, Tianamen Square and Summer Palace, etc. In the evening enjoy Peking Duck at Beijing’s most famous restaurant – Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant for dinner. Afterwards, enjoy your shopping at Wangfujing Street. Overnight stay at BEST WESTERN PREMIER HOTEL ( A whole day in Beijing to visit and enjoy photo stops at the Official Olympic Site – The “Bird Nest” Sport Stadium and Water Cubic Aquatic Centre. DAY 4 BEIJING / TIANJIN / BEIJING Soon after breakfast, proceed to Tianjin by coach. Upon arrival, visits to Food Street and Culture Street in Tianjin and whilst there, enjoy the famous Tianjin Goubuli Bun for lunch. After lunch we proceed to visit the Olympic Central Stadium. DAY 5 BEIJING / CHENGDE Today we head off to visit the Temple of Heaven and enjoy a bit of shopping at the famous Silk Market (Xiushui Street) in the morning. The group will have the opportunity to enjoy the famous Yihe Roast Chicken for lunch. Afterwards, continue your journey to Chengde by coach. Check-in at JING CHENG HOTEL ( Soon after breakfast, proceed to visit the Imperial Summer Resort where you can hike around the mountains in this huge resort. Then continue to visit another Putongzhongcheng Temple which was also named as Small Potala Palace. In the afternoon, depart for Qinghuangdao by coach. DAY 7 QINHUANGDAO / SHENYANG After breakfast, enjoy a bit of sightseeing in Qinghuangdao whilst visiting the First Pass of the Great Wall – Shanhaiguan, situated to the east of Qinghuangdao City. This section of Great Wall was built in 1381 and has the most magnificent view of the whole Great Wall. We then continue the journey to visit the Old Dragon Head – the starting point of the Great Wall just 5 kilometres to the east of Shanhaiguan, which dips into the sea like a dragon’s head. Then a photo stop at the Olympic Stadium of Qinghuangdao. After lunch, continue to drive to Shenyang and on arrival, proceed to SHENYANG TIANBAO INTERNATIONAL HOTEL (
DAY 8 SHENYANG A whole day in Shenyang to visit to the Imperial Palace, the Former Residence of Marshal Zhangxueliang, the Zhong Pedestrian Street and the Olympic Football Stadium, etc. Enjoy a very special local cuisine Laobian Jiaozi Banquet (Dumpling Banquet). DAY 10 DALIAN / QINGDAO Today, we visit the Dalian mounted Policewoman Training Base, Russian Street, City Main Square and Green Hill, etc. In the afternoon, transfers to the airport for our flight to Qingdao (flight details to be advised). Upon arrival, proceed to visit Taiqing Palace on the mountain of Laoshan. Overnight stay at JINJIANG HOTEL ( A whole day in Qingdao to visit Mt. DAY 12 QINGDAO / SHANGHAI Soon after breakfast, proceed to visit Qingdao Olympic Sailing Centre and Wusi Square, etc. In the afternoon, trasnfers to the airport for your flight to Shanghai (flight details to be advised). On arrival, a tour guide will meet up with the group to escort the group to enjoy Cantonese cuisine for dinner at a famous restaurant. DAY 13 SHANGHAI Soon after breakfast, proceed to visit the Zhujiajiao Water Village - an ancient canal town. It is famous for its unique, old bridges crossing bubbling streams and rivers shaded by willow trees- enjoy a world that full of antiquity and tranquility. In the afternoon, return to Shanghai and continue to visit the Yu Garden and Chenghuang Temple, etc. After dinner, enjoy cruising on the Huangpu river for a very special and different night view of Shanghai City. DAY 14 SHANGHAI / MELBOURNE via SINGAPORE Soon after breakfast, transferred by coach to visit the “Shanghai 2010 World Expo” Exhibition Centre. Enjoy your own lunch inside the centre. In the evening, proceed to enjoy your dinner before heading off to the airport for your Shanghai / Melbourne flight via Singapore with Singapore Airlines flight SQ825 departing at 0:10 am for Singapore.
