Not Included

  • Visa Application - Not included but we will assist you with obtaining necessary Visas to enter Japan and South Korea (both required). Costs to be confirmed once we have further clarification.
  • PCR Test - Not included however both countries will require a negative COVID result prior to arrival
  • Travel Insurance - Not included. We strongly recommend taking out insurance cover which includes adequate cover for medical COVID-19

Day 1 - MELBOURNE/SINGAPORE/SEOUL

Just after midnight, we board our flight for Seoul via Singapore. Upon arrival, we will have our first welcome dinner and then check in at hotel for rest.

Day 2 - SEOUL

Today, we visit the National Museum of South Korea, Gyeongbok palace and Presidential Blue House. Later, we head to Gwanghwamun Square and Cheonggyecheon stream, touted as the most successful urban facelift. In the afternoon, free time in Myeongdong to explore and arrange down dinner.

Day 3 - SEOUL

Visit Namsangol hanok village – It is composed of three parts: a traditional Korean garden, time capsule plaza, and the village itself, which encases the traditional Korean houses. Then we walk along the elevated sky garden of Seoullo 7017. South Korea is also well known for their cosmetics and so the group will also have a quick stop of a local shop. The day wouldn’t be complete without a visit to N Seoul Tower—the centre of Seoul and the highest place where you can see Seoul from above.

Day 4 - SEOUL/MT SORAK

This morning we travel to Mount Sorak National Park—one of South Korea's most famous areas. If you're lucky, you might be able to catch a glimpse of the park's inhabitants, including deer, otters, squirrels and bears. Here, we will visit Sinheungsa Temple and then take the cable car to Gwongeumseong Fortress to see the castle ruins and the spectacular views of the National Park.

Day 5 - MT SORAK/DAEGU

Today, we head to the village of Andong, known for its well-preserved traditional houses and unique mask dancing performances. Afterwards, relax with some retail therapy in Dongseongno Shopping District, one of the major fashion districts in Daegu city

Day 6 - DAEGU/GYEONGJU

After breakfast we explore the archaeological sites and temples/monuments of Gyeongju. Visit Cheomseongdae Astronomical observatory, National Museum, Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram grotto. Finish day with Gyeongju National Park.

Day 7 - GYEONGJU/PUSAN

Proceed by coach to Pusan - a large port city in South Korea, is known for its beaches, mountains and temples. Visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, a beautiful temple situated near the sea. Once we arrive to Pusan, visit Yongdusan Park, Jagalchi Fish Market and Songdo Skywalk.

Day 8 - PUSAN/JEJU ISLAND

This morning prior to arriving to Pusan airport, we will stop into a local shop for any last minute gift purchases before leaving for Jeju Island. Jeju Island, located southwest of the Korean Peninsula, is the Republic of Korea’s largest island. Jeju is a world-famous volcanic island with more than 90% of its total area covered in basalt. This resort island has magnificent views of nature and plenty of entertaining excursions for solo travelers, families, and couples alike. Upon arrival into Jeju Island, your local guide will take you to hotel for check in and rest.

Day 9 - JEJU ISLAND

Enjoy a full day coach tour of Jeju Island after breakfast this morning! Begin the day with a visit to Hallim Park to see its sub-tropical gardens and mysterious lava caves and stop by Hyeopjuae Beach. After lunch, enjoy a boat ride where you will see Dragon Head Coast, Mt Sanbangsan and Jusannggeolli Cliff from the boat. Later, choose to visit either the charming Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls before returning to your hotel.

Day 10 - JEJU ISLAND /SEOUL

We bid farewell to this amazing island and arrive back into Seoul sometime this afternoon. After checking into hotel, our group will regroup for dinner.

Day 11 - SEOUL FREE DAY

A whole day to enjoy Seoul at your own pace. There is so much to see and do in this vibrant and busy city!

Day 12 - SEOUL/SINGAPORE

Relax and wait until your scheduled transfer to Incheon airport for your flight back home via Singapore.

Day 13 - SINGAPORE/MELBOURNE

Your overnight flight from Singapore arrives back into Melbourne this morning. We hope you enjoyed your South Korean getaway!
