Not Included

  • Visa Application - Not included but we will assist you with obtaining necessary Visas to enter Japan and South Korea (both required). Costs to be confirmed once we have further clarification.
  • PCR Test - Not included however both countries will require a negative COVID result prior to arrival
  • Travel Insurance - Not included. We strongly recommend taking out insurance cover which includes adequate cover for medical COVID-19

Day 1 - MELBOURNE/SINGAPORE/SEOUL

Just after midnight, we board our flight for Seoul via Singapore. Upon arrival, we will have our first welcome dinner and then check in at hotel for rest.

Day 2 - SEOUL

Today, we visit the National Museum of South Korea, Gyeongbok palace and Presidential Blue House. Later, we head to Gwanghwamun Square and Cheonggyecheon stream, touted as the most successful urban facelift. In the afternoon, free time in Myeongdong to explore and arrange down dinner.

Day 3 - SEOUL

Visit Namsangol hanok village – It is composed of three parts: a traditional Korean garden, time capsule plaza, and the village itself, which encases the traditional Korean houses. Then we walk along the elevated sky garden of Seoullo 7017. South Korea is also well known for their cosmetics and so the group will also have a quick stop of a local shop. The day wouldn’t be complete without a visit to N Seoul Tower—the centre of Seoul and the highest place where you can see Seoul from above.

Day 4 - SEOUL/MT SORAK

This morning we travel to Mount Sorak National Park—one of South Korea's most famous areas. If you're lucky, you might be able to catch a glimpse of the park's inhabitants, including deer, otters, squirrels and bears. Here, we will visit Sinheungsa Temple and then take the cable car to Gwongeumseong Fortress to see the castle ruins and the spectacular views of the National Park.

Day 5 - MT SORAK/DAEGU

Today, we head to the village of Andong, known for its well-preserved traditional houses and unique mask dancing performances. Afterwards, relax with some retail therapy in Dongseongno Shopping District, one of the major fashion districts in Daegu city

Day 6 - DAEGU/GYEONGJU

After breakfast we explore the archaeological sites and temples/monuments of Gyeongju. Visit Cheomseongdae Astronomical observatory, National Museum, Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram grotto. Finish day with Gyeongju National Park.

Day 7 - GYEONGJU/PUSAN

Proceed by coach to Pusan - a large port city in South Korea, is known for its beaches, mountains and temples. Visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, a beautiful temple situated near the sea. Once we arrive to Pusan, visit Yongdusan Park, Jagalchi Fish Market and Songdo Skywalk.

Day 8 - PUSAN/OSAKA

This morning prior to arriving to Pusan international airport, we will stop into a local shop for any last minute gift purchases before leaving South Korea. A short flight will take us into Osaka, Japan. Your trusty local guide will be there to greet you and after lunch, we check into hotel for well needed rest. Tonight we regroup for first dinner in Japan.

Day 9 - OSAKA/NARA/OSAKA

After breakfast, our group will drive to Nara City and spend some time here to visit the Deer Park and Todaiji temple. Afterwards, we make our way back to Osaka which includes a photostop at Osaka Castle followed by free time in Dontonburi/Shinsaibashi. Tonight we will allow the group to arrange own dinner in the area.

Day 10 - OSAKA/KYOTO/NAGOYA

Today we make our journey to Kyoto—one of the most iconic places in Japan. Here we visit Fushimi Inari Shrine and the famous Kiyomizu Temple. After lunch, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. This afternoon enjoy a shinkansen experience and take your train from Kyoto station to Nagoya Station. Your bus will take the luggage back to hotel. Dinner in Nagoya area.

Day 11 - NAGOYA/LAKE KAWAGUCHI

Prior to departing this wonderful city we visit Nagoya Castle and Osu Kannon Temple where you can write your wishes and tie them to lanterns. After lunch we drive to Lake Kawaguchi area. Check into hotel and enjoy a traditional Japanese dinner.

Day 12 - LAKE KAWAGUCHI/MT FUJI/HAKONE/TOKYO

A very exciting day as we our group will journey up to the 5th station at Mt Fuji (pending weather). Once we arrive to the 5th station, our group will have free time to explore and arrange own lunch. Afterwards, drive towards Hakone and visit Owakudani also known as the Hell Valley, a sulphurous pond. Later drive to Tokyo.

Day 13 - TOKYO

There is so much to do in this city that never sleeps! Today we visit Asakusa Kannon Temple then Nakamise Market, which resembles a traditional style shopping street of a bygone era. Ueno Park is next and is famous for its 1,000+ cherry blossom trees. In the afternoon, we head up Tokyo Tower and get a bird’s eye view of Tokyo. From here we will cross the Rainbow Bridge, and be treated to stunning views of Tokyo Bay. We will travel to the man made islands of Odaiba and see cutting edge architecture, as well as the night view of Tokyo Tower and Rainbow bridge.

Day 14 - TOKYO FREE DAY

This city is yours to enjoy at your own leisure today.

This morning we will head to the airport and board our flight back home (via Singapore).
