DAY 1. MELBOURNE / SINGAPORE

This afternoon we depart from Melbourne airport for Singapore and will arrive later in the evening. Time to stretch your legs and explore Changi airport!

DAY 2. SINGAPORE/LONDON/OXFORD/STRATFORD UPON AVON   

Our flight to London will depart after midnight arrive early in the morning. Your trusty coach and tour manager are waiting to welcome you. Once all being well and settling down in the comfort of your luxury coach, we are off on our short ride to Oxford. As we enter Oxford, take a walk around Broad Street to Hartford College, the Bridge of Sigh, Sheldonian theatre before we end up at Hay Market and Carfax. Oxford is a delight to set you free. We then drive to Cotswold – this scenic drive into the country is dotted with honey coloured villages and rolling green hills. We come then to Stratford upon Avon, home of William Shakespeare is undoubtedly one of the most visited villages in the Cotswold area. Here at Henley Street, we can take a good look close up at his birthplace of the Bard. Dinner tonight is in the hotel.

DAY 3. STRATFORD UPON AVON/CARDIFF

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and the pleasant country setting. Later, our tour coach takes us to Wales and its capital. We visit the highlights, where the old meets new in Cardiff. Embark on a mini-waterside tour of Cardiff Bay and you will be treated to the glorious spectre of Y Senedd, the Pier head Building and the Wales Millennium Centre. In the city centre, marvel at the Edwardian shopping arcades, which house Spillers – the oldest record shop in the world! And of course, a chance to see Principality Stadium and visit Cardiff Castle  are right here. Undoubtedly, you will have time in city centre for some retail therapy.

DAY 4. CARDIFF / FISHGUARD/FERRY TO IRELAND/WATERFORD 

A slow drive towards the port of Fishguard for a quick bite by a local pub before our 2.30 p.m. ferry sails across the Irish-sea. This evening, our dinner will be in the charming township of Waterford.

DAY 5. WATERFORD / CORK / BLARNEY STONE /  TRALEE

After breakfast, a short drive to visit the city of Cork to see some of the city’s highlights such as St. Finbarre’s Cathedral, Shandon Bells, English Historic Market and the Lee River.  Then through north Cork countryside towards Blarney Castle in the afternoon – a medieval stronghold in Blarney the River Martin. Why not kiss the Stone of Eloquence, supposedly this stone bestows the gift of eloquence once kissed. For over 200 years, world statesmen, literary giants, and legends of the silver screen have joined the millions of pilgrims climbing the steps to kiss the Blarney Stone – now it is your turn! A short drive away is Tralee/Killarney; gateway to another scenic route on the Irish isle.

DAY 6. RING OF KERRY/ SHANNON TOWN 

After breakfast this morning we embark on a 4 hour trip to one of Ireland’s most popular destinations – the “The Ring of Kerry.” for a tour. The Ring, a winding coastal road through a mountainous, lake-splattered region, is undeniably breath-taking. Along the way there are beautiful views – particularly at “Ladies View” in Killarney National Park where we see castles, forts and historic houses along the way. Then the glacial valley of Gap of Dunloe, indeed it is a day to feast your eyes on classic views of the Irish countryside. In the evening we come to Bunratty Folklore Park. Set on 26 acres, we visit the impressive park features over 30 buildings in a ‘living’ village and rural setting. Rural farmhouses, village shops and streets are recreated and furnished as they would have appeared at that time according to their social standing back in the day. We continue our fun into the evening. You are booked for a traditional Irish dinner in this area, with entertainment truly an Irish style! Enjoy the singing you will loved, funny comic and talented performers where a great night out is promised. Short drive to hotel after the dinner show.

DAY 7. SHANNON/DUBLIN

After our breakfast, we head towards the capital of Republic of Ireland – Dublin. Sightseeing upon arrival will show us the National Gallery, the Old Irish Parliament, St. Stephens Park, Dublin Castle; Christ Church, St Patrick church, Trinity College and City Hall. We will drive slowly through the Phoenix park and beside the River Liffey, and end up at O’Connell Street – the shopping and entertainment area of the city. Your delightful day ends at the hotel with dinner accompanied perhaps order yourself a Guinness, the favourite drink of the locals.

DAY 8. GUNINNESS STOREHOUSE TOUR / FREE AT LEISURE

We take a walk down town to the Guinness Storehouse – a seven-floor exhibition space at the St James’s Gate Brewery in central Dublin, where Guinness was first brewed in 1759. In the Atrium, see the copy of the 9,000-year brewery lease signed by Guinness’ founder, Arthur Guinness, learn about the four ingredients of the iconic Irish drink. At your own leisure pace, enjoy virtual exhibits and videos with host of interactive displays and multi-sensory experiences.  It even teaches you some tasting technique! Of course our pass entitles you to a free pint of Guinness, not forgetting the 360-degree panoramic views over Dublin on the top floor. Later why not visit some of the shops in the main thoroughfare, where Irish linen are most sort after by visitors – free time at leisure in the afternoon.

DAY 9. DUBLIN/GIANT CAUSEWAY NATURE RESERVE /BELFAST 

An early start for another nature’s spectacle – the famous World Heritage Site known as the Giant Causeway. Legend states that the Causeway’s rocks were carved by Ireland’s most famous Giant Warrior: the great Finn MacCoole. There is also a suggestion they may have been formed by volcanic activity 60 million years ago. Our coach continues to the impressive and magnificent Dunluce Castle, part of this impressive ruin crumbled into the sea in the 1600’s. The backdrop of the ocean and North Coast make this a really dramatic photo stop! Continue our visit in Belfast city later for a panoramic sightseeing tour. Photostops when possible to see City Hall, the River Lagan, Queens University, St Anne’s cathedral and Prince Albert memorial Clock. After the panoramic tour a short stop by the ship building dock of Belfast where the birth of the world most famous “Titanic” passenger cruise ship was created. After a quick photo shop outside this lovely museum, we enjoy dinner back in hotel.

DAY 10. BELFAST/LARNE PIER/Ferry crossing to CAIRNRYAN/GLASGOW

Our ferry sets sail in the morning from the Firth of Clyde and across Loch Ryan. Enjoy a simple lunch on board before arrival at the port of Cairnryan in Scotland.  In the early evening, we enter the city of European Culture – Glascow. Here, we stay for the next two nights.

DAY 11. FULL DAY to the QUEEN’S EDINBURGH

Be ready to see the best of Scotland this morning! A short drive away is Edinburg and at the foot of the rock is Edinburgh castle (we view it from a distance). Afterwards, continue with our drive to see the castle hill; the Georgian quarters; the Royal Mile, the grand centre of Edinburgh’s Old Town. It is dominated by granite, giving it a dark, Gothic feel, lined with majestic buildings – banks, churches, courthouses and the Park with Robert Scots monument. A detailed visit to the Holyrood Palace house, is a must. This baroque palace, best known as the home of Mary Queen of Scots, has rooms of antiques; Tapestries; Paintings and grand reception halls, glamorous that carries no bling, is indeed fit for a Queen. Next we board HER MAJESTY’s The Royal Yacht Britannia. For 60 years of service she has sailed a million miles, on a thousand official visits and numerous times to Australia. This yacht is a fascinating 5-star visitor attraction. We have a rare glimpse into the public and private lives of the British Royal Family. Back to Edinburgh for some free time before our dinner in a local restaurant.

DAY 12. GLASCOW/GRETNA GREEN / CARISLE / LAKE DISTRICT/ PRESTON 

This morning we head south into the “low-land”, passing through Gretna Green where we make a stop. This is a village in Scotland famous for runaway weddings. Visit also the world famous Blacksmith shop and Scottish tartan mill. Brief stop next at Carlisle Castle built under the reign of William II in the 12th century and then to Lake District in Cumbria. Here, feast your eyes on the beauty of England – this journey through the beautiful English countryside has the region’s prettiest collection of lakes and dales. In Windermere, our short boat trip is delightful as every turn is picture post card view. This short cruise around the beauty of serene water and island will be one of the most memorable in England. This evening we rest in Preston – LANCASTER region where dinner will be served.

DAY 13. PRESTON/MANCHESTER  UNITED STADIUM TOUR/CAMBRIDGE

This morning, we proceed to the second largest city in England – Manchester. A quick orientation around the city area shows us the iconic town-hall where many TV shows using it as the back drop of “Parliament corridor”. Next to Old Trafford is the stadium Manchester United Football club since 1910. Here, we go on an exciting tour to retrace the history of one of England’s most famous soccer clubs.  Our next destination is a city that inspired great minds from Charles Darwin to Stephen Hawking, with one of the world’s oldest universities – Cambridge.

DAY 14. CAMBRIDGE/LONDON

Experience one of the world’s most famous universities with a 1.5-hour walking tour of the prestigious Cambridge University with your guide, usually a Cambridge University graduate. We pass by many architectural highlights like Trinity College, King’s College and Corpus Christi College, see the halls where alumni like Sir Isaac Newton, C.S. Lewis and John Harvard once walked. We shall also cross the River Cam to see the Bridge of Signs (more beautiful than the one in Venice we were told) and of course the mathematical bridge purported to be without any nails. In the afternoon, we leave for London.

DAY 15. LONDON tour / FREE AT LEISURE

This morning in Good old London town, your tour manager will show you Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s official London residence, to see the Changing of the Guard. We drive pass all the famous spots that you have seen on countless posters and calendars such as the Palace of Westminster, site of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s marriage in 2011, Big Ben and Victoria tower, Regent street and Piccadilly circus. Continuing on, we also drive by number 10 Downing street, Banqueting house and Trafalgar square. After lunch, continue to the Tower of London and stop at St Paul’s Cathedral. Afterwards, enjoy a bit of free time to roam inside HARRODs department store. In the afternoon, we shall let you free to grab the bargains on Oxford Street and Bond street for those who simply love luxury.

DAY 16. LONDON / SINGAPORE

All set and well packed, we will take you to the airport for your flight back home.Your tour manager and long distance driver bid you fond voyage and safe journey home. Just after midday your flight to Changi Airport with Singapore Airlines will take off..sit back and relax.

DAY 17. SINGAPORE/MELBOURNE 

After a short transit in Singapore, your flight back home will depart shortly. You will arrive back into Melbourne tonight in the evening and we hope you enjoyed your epic holiday!
