DAY 1. MELBOURNE / SINGAPORE

Are you ready for one of the most exciting tours of your life? This afternoon, we depart for Singapore with Singapore Airlines.

DAY 2. SINGAPORE/ MOSCOW

We should arrive just after midnight into Singapore. After a short transit, we board our connecting flight for Moscow. For a long time, Moscow has claimed the title of “Third Rome”, regarding itself as a spiritual successor to the imperial Christian capitals of Rome and Constantinople. Historically, it was the capital of the former Soviet Union, Russian Empire, Tzardom of Russia and the Grand Duchy of Moscow. Your trusty tour manager will pick you up and then our group will enjoy a Russian themed welcome show with songs and dancers in 18th-century costumes. Afterward, we stop by at the local folklore handicraft market. After back to the hotel for rest.

DAY 3. MOSCOW

After a hearty breakfast, we depart to take in the capital. Starting in Red Square, look up at the striped onion domes of St Basil’s Cathedral as you learn about the Russian Orthodox Church. We shall point out Lenin’s Mausoleum which also houses the tomb of the unknown soldiers. We pass by the bustling streets with modern hotels and cafe, GUM shopping mall and department stores. Then we stop to catch sight of its famous landmark – Kremlin Palace. Not too far away is the Belfry of Ivan the Great. Later today, a chance to admire the stunning architectural interiors of one of the world’s largest rapid transit systems. See stations like Kievskaya and Slavyansky Bulvar with their pompous halls and high stucco ceilings as we hop on a short ride on the Metro. Enjoy your final evening in the capital with a performance by the State Circus, promising to enrich your memory of this visit in future.

DAY 4.MOSCOW/ ST PETERSBURG

Very early this morning, we make our way from Moscow to St Petersburg via high speed train (4 hours). Sit back , relax and enjoy the view of passing coniferous evergreen mountains, rugged rivers and rushing streams. Upon arrival, our local guide will lead us to an elegant lunch serving traditional Russian cuisine. Soon our afternoon tour on coach for orientation drive about the city begins. The main highlights to cover where stops will be made include the Winter Palace, Nevsky Prospect, Kazan Cathedral, Stroganov Palace, Admiralty, Palace Square, Peter and Paul Fortress, Naval Museum, St. Petersburg University, Menshikov Palace, Academy of Fine Arts, Senate Square, various important monuments and more depending on time.

DAY 5. ST PETERSBURG/PETERHOF

After breakfast, discover Peterhof, St. Petersburg’s most famous and spectacular Imperial Estate. Located on the seashore, the Grand Palace and park complex of Peterhof with its unique a ray of 140 fountains working without pumps, is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Millions of tourists as yourself all over the world have waited to see this magnificent site. Afterwards, we relax our pace with a short stop at one of the finest markets in town the Kuznechny market.

DAY 6. ST PETERSBURG

Today will be a chance to enjoy a relaxing tour to cover the Palace Square and then we drop into the Grand State Hermitage Museum. After lunch we proceed to the Cathedral of Holy Virgin of Kazan and finish off today at the Church of Our Saviour on Spilled Blood. Tonight we rest in preparation for our early flight tomorrow morning.

DAY 7. ST PETERSBURG / BERLIN

Very early in the morning, we will drive to St. Petersburg airport for our flight to Berlin (details to be confirmed). Upon arrival, we will organise an early lunch followed by a “Getting to know you Berliner” tour – Driving towards the boulevards of June 17, the Unter den Linden, one would enjoy the grander of the monuments such as the Parliament house, Bundes Kanzlefamt and Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Cultural museums). At Check Point Charlie, take a picture for keep sake, before we drop of again at the Brandenburg Tor, the Arch de Triumph of Berlin. Continue further, we come to the New “Old” Berlin where Alexandra Platz shows off its TV tower, the Bebel Platz, Berliner Dom church, the War Memorial and the East Side Gallery with its colourful “graffiti”.

DAY 8. BERLIN/DRESDEN/PRAGUE

Dresden, the “Florence of the North” symbolises the new era, as the wars had be a total destruction to its infrastructure. This “ Scarlet- Phoenix” has once again risen from her ashes, emerging from her depressive past into the most beautiful of German cities. We take a stroll for about an hour, enjoy its high rococo and baroque style city center. We then bid good bye in the afternoon after lunch heading towards the forest of Czech Republic, for the final destination of the day – the capital Prague awaits.

DAY 9. PRAGUE

Meet our Prague city expert for an insight to this wonderful city. See the following sights – the Jewish Quarter (Josefov), Rudolfinum, Municipal House, Powder Tower, Main Train Station, the Opera House, National Museum and others if time permits. A chance too, for us to stretch our feet as we stroll on to the Charles Bridge over the mighty river Danube. Later for our highlight, we walk up Prague Castle. Admire the Strahov Monastery; Loreta Church and the Castle ground. The Old Town Square’s most notable sights are the Church of Our Lady before Tyn, the Old Town Hall Tower has the most striking and impressive Astronomical Clock of Time and Death and the stunning St. Nicholas Church. Once here, put your feet up simply to soak up the atmosphere over a coffee at one of the many pavement cafes till dinner time. For the shoppers, walk back to Wenceslas Square.

DAY 10. PRAGUE/OLOMOUC/KRAKOW

Today we bid farewell to Prague and stop into the ancient town of Olomouc in the afternoon. This fifth largest town in the country lies in the heart of the so-called Han region. It has the second most significant collection of historical monuments in the country after Prague. Stop at the city old square to view Trinity Column. Today the Holy Trinity Column listed as one of UNESCO’s list of World Cultural Heritage sites. There is also the sight of St. Wenceslas Cathedral, the high Baroque Hradisko Monastery. If time permits, we visit the eight sided tower, culminating in a gilded onion dome with a cross, of which the Greek Orthodox church proudly owns. In the evening, arrival at Poland’s most touristic spot – Krakow city.

DAY 11. KRAKOW

Prepare yourself for one of the most impressive and memorial journeys this morning as we drive to the Wieliczka Salt Mine. This salt mine is also a world class monument, featuring among twelve objects on the UNESCO’s World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. Today, the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine combines many centuries of tradition and modernity, the history of several hundred years and an underground metropolis with extensive infrastructure. After a great day in this historic township, we return to enjoy our dinner at the hotel.

DAY 12. KRAKOW/BRATISLAVA

Today we leave Poland and head into Bratislava – for a stroll to the historic old town, allowing a panoramic view from the high ground above the city outside her old castle ramparts. In the afternoon, we check into our hotel for our overnight rest.

DAY 13. BRATISLAVA/ BUDAPEST

This morning we drive towards Hungary. Budapest impresses everyone with its architecturally grand buildings and its natural beauty. Today, visit the Opera House, Hero’s Square, a major square of Budapest with two important buildings—The Museum of Fine Arts and The Palace of Art. Then a stop at Millennium Memorial where there are statues of the leaders of the seven tribes that founded Hungary. After we crossing Elizabeth bridge which offers a peerless panorama of the entire city. Nearby is the Matthias Church, one of the most interesting churches in the country located close to the Royal Palace and the Fisherman’s bastion. Not too far away, take in the Hungarian Parliament house, inspired in part by the British’s Palace of Westminster. After a comprehensive orientation, we settled down in our hotel for a good rest. This evening, a night out to enjoy a lively folklore dinner with performance to entertain.

DAY 14.BUDAPEST

We take you to the picturesque Artist’s Village, called Szentendre. We wander around the baroque settlement, built on medieval ruins and walk along the narrow streets. We invite you for a Lángos (fried Hungarian flat bread). Then you will have the opportunity to go shopping or to visit the Margit Kovács Ceramic Museum or the Confectionery Museum (marzipan figures). After a hearty dinner, one of the main highlights of your tour will be a beautiful night cruise on the Danube river.

DAY 15. BUDAPEST/ VIENNA

This morning after breakfast, we continue towards the capital of Austria. Orientation shows you 17th century Vienna wonderful buildings, churches and palaces. One round along the city’s Ringstrasse reveals more of its famous historical buildings and monuments – the State Opera House; the Museum of Fine Arts; the Museum of Natural History, the House of Parliament, the Burgtheater and the City Hall, the University as well as the Votive Church. Later, we visit the world renowned – Schonbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Habsburg family. After dinner, return to hotel for a good rest.

DAY 16. VIENNA/SALZBURG

Today we make our way from Vienna and into Salzburg, the heart of the ever-green movie – the Sound of Music. One of the finest preserved medieval old towns in Europe, crisscrossed with winding streets and venerable market places and adorned with architectural monuments of the later baroque era. Walk about with your local expert to view the stunning Domkirche Cathedral, palaces, gardens, churches, monasteries. Finally, visit the breathtaking 900 year old fortress Festung Hohensalzburg, the magnificent edifice that dominates the city’s skyline.

DAY 17. SALZBURG/MUNICH

After breakfast, proceed to the final destination of our tour– Munich. Prior to arriving we will visit Hallstatt, one of the most spectacular villages in Europe. Once we arrive to Munich, discover sights such as the Pinakotheken art museums, the world famous Hofbrauhaus, the National Theater with the Royal Palace, Marienplatz and the Viktualien market with its colorful outdoor stalls. Our tour continues to offer an impression of modern Munich, you will visit the Olympic grounds where you will take lovely pictures of other attractions like Sea Life, the BMW museum and the new BMW Car World. Later we will pass through the former artist quarter of Schwabing where you may stroll along Leopold street. After dinner, German Beer anyone?

DAY 18. MUNICH/SINGAPORE

Good times inevitably come to an end and after breakfast, we bid farewell to our tour manager at Munich airport for our Singapore airlines which will leave just after noon time.

Our overnight flight arrives into Singapore in the morning and after a short transit, we board our connecting flight bound for Australia . We hope you enjoyed your time abroad!
