SPECIAL NOTES:

For the US West Coast tour it is hard to find acceptable restaurants for group lunches along the highway and desert – therefore it will usually be fast food outlets at which we will make stops (at your own cost). USA is very far and wide and hence please expect days of long driving involved when making our way in between sightseeing spots.

DAY 1. MELBOURNE OR SYDNEY / ORLANDO via LOS ANGELES

This morning, we depart from Melbourne and board our flight bound for Los Angeles – we invite you to sit back and relax. We will arrive early in the morning into Los Angeles and a few hours later we will reboard our flight bound for Orlando. Arrive to Orlando late in the evening then transfer directly to hotel.

*Due to the timing of the flights and that we will arrive quite late (after 6pm), we suggest you to order own dinner at the hotel restaurant after check in.

DAY 2. ORLANDO / BOARD HARMONY OF THE SEAS

After breakfast, enjoy a bit of free time before we make our way to Port Canaveral to board the beautiful Harmony of the Seas. . The Harmony of the Seas offers a unique cruise experience in total connection with the sea, connecting inside and outside public spaces. After boarding the ship, we will depart around 4:30pm. We encourage you to explore this majestic ship with your travel partners!

DAY 3. ARRIVE COCOCAY ISLAND (BAHAMAS)

DAY 5. ARRIVE COZUMEL (MEXICO)

A forty-kilometre-long island directly off the coast from Playa del Carmen, Cozumel is a renowned cruise-ship call. Nearly every day, up to ten cruise ships dock at one of the island’s three dedicated piers, all just south of the only town, San Miguel. There is much to see and do at this port, we hope you enjoy Cozumel!

DAY 6. ROATAN (HONDURAS)

Roatan’s diverse blend of cultures and traditions is enough to charm anyone. But its mangrove forests, dense jungles, and swaths of white-sand beach will make you want to stay forever. Divers and snorkelers from all over the globe flock to the largest of Honduras’ Bay Islands every year see to the world’s second largest barrier reef firsthand. You can purchase excursions such as Roatan cruise which provide access to laid-back beach towns and secluded shores or alternatively you can choose to mingle with monkeys and “Jesus” lizards, snorkel with stingrays, and zipline through rainforest canopies. So much to choose from!

DAY 7. PUERTO COSTA MAYA (MEXICO)

Past meets present in Costa Maya. Cruise to Costa Maya and find ancient Maya ruins and mysterious jungles just begging to be explored, as well as private beach clubs and trendy restaurants— all in one place. It’s 250 square miles of paradise packed with entertainment and history, all just 30 miles south of Cancun. The Great Maya Reef just off the coast is the second largest in the world— it’s a must-snorkel spot. Or you can kick back at the port village of Mahahual with an ice-cold michelada— a spicy beer cocktail— in hand. For a culture fix, head to the Kohunlick ruins to see the famous Temple of the Masks.

DAY 8. AT SEA

Last day at sea to fully discover and enjoy the many facilities available on board the Harmony of the Seas before we arrive back to Orlando tomorrow.

DAY 9. ORLANDO / LAS VEGAS

This morning, we will arrive back into the port of Canveral and after our disembarkation, we will make our way to the airport for our flight to Las Vegas! Please note, this is not a direct flight and involves an additional stop enroute to Las Vegas. Upon arrival into Las Vegas, transfer to hotel and dinner at own leisure.

DAY 10. LAS VEGAS FREE DAY

A whole day to explore Sin City at your own time – if you are feeling lucky perhaps a bet at one of the many casinos on hand!

DAY 11. LAS VEGAS / ZION/ BRYCE

Today, after breakfast we begin our tour of the USA National Parks! First up is is Zion National Park, where a drive through the park reveals the beautiful peaks of the mountains, the alpines and the streams. Here, you can feast your eyes on all kinds of sentinel rocks, and spectacular sights created by Mother Nature. Afterwards we drive to Bryce Canyon National Park awaits you, as our coach ascends to an elevation of 8,000 feet. The park is endowed with some of the most spectacular rock formation in the world, known as “Hoodoo”. Many are formed as a result of water and wind erosion. Bryce Canyon is also known as the “Western Terra Cotta”! In the afternoon, we drive to Las Vegas, driving past the Valley of Fire & Virgin River Canyon. Overnight in Bryce.

DAY 12. BRUCE / UPPER ANTELOPE / HORSESHOE BEND/ PAGE

Leave for Antelope Canyon in the morning. This colourful Canyon was a famous long and narrow canyon with a walkable corridor at the bottom of the canyon floor. It was formed by flash flood flows into the cracks of the Navajo sandstone and wind erosion. With the penetration of daylight through the narrow opening from the top different kinds of light reflections and colours were created. That makes this area a popular location for photographers and tourists. Proceed to an area where the Colorado River made a 280 degree turn around the Horseshoe Bend shape of rock and then we settle into Page for the night.

DAY 13. PAGE / MONUMENT VALLEY / GOOSENECKS STATE PARK / MOAB

Today we visit another beautiful place of nature – Monument Valley – located on the border between Utah and Arizona. Monument Valley is an area of free standing sandstone rock forms that rise majestically from the desert floor. Up to 1,000 feet tall, they create a truly magical desert landscape. The beauty of the area is a fact well documented by the numerous Western movies and television commercials for which Monument Valley has served as a backdrop. Motion pictures, “Stagecoach”, “How the West was won,” and “Indiana Jones” were filmed here. Then proceed to Gooseneck state park – on the edge of a deep canyon above the sinuous river meander known as a gooseneck, this small park affords impressive views of one of the most striking examples of an entrenched river meander on the North American continent. DAY 14. MOAB / ARCHES NATIONAL PARK / DENVER

This morning visit the magnificent Arches National Park, a symphony of colors and shapes created by the forces of nature. Arches National Park contains the world’s largest concentration of natural stone arches. This National Park is a red, arid desert, punctuated with oddly eroded sandstone forms such as fins, pinnacles, spires, balanced rocks, and arches. The 73,000-acre region has over 2,000 of these “miracles of nature.” . Afterwards we continue the drive to Denver.

DAY 15. DENVER / MT RUSHMORE / DEADWOOD

Today after breakfast, we travel to the State of South Dakota – The Mt. Rushmore State. Visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial. It is a monumental granite sculpture that represents the first 150 years of the history of the United States of America with 60-foot sculptures of the heads of former United States presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. Today will be a very long drive and so afterwards we will settle into the township of Deadwood for the night.

DAY 16. DEADWOOD / DEVIL’S TOWER / BIG HORN MOUNTAINS / CODY

After breakfast we arrive to Devils Tower National Monument, the Devils Tower which is famous for the world’s first UFO movie, “The Encounter of the Third Kind” in 1970’s. We then drive towards the State of Wyoming – The Equality state and along the way, enjoy a scenic drive across the unique and diverse Big Horn Mountains, Within the National Forest areas, you can encounter grass prairies, evergreen forests, mountain meadows, rugged alpine peaks, dramatic canyons, arid desert lands and cascading waterfalls. Overnight in the city of Cody – the “Rodeo Capital of the World”!

DAY 17. CODY / YELLOWSTONE PARK

Discover the world’s first national park – Yellowstone National Park – a park located primarily in the U.S. state of Wyoming, although it also extends into Montana and Idaho. The park also includes several mountain ranges and a large number of high peaks, such as Bunsen Peak, the remains of a volcanic vent plugged with magma and exposed by erosion, which reaches an elevation of 8564 feet. Especially memorable is the plethora of wildlife in the park. This includes freely roaming and easily visible herds of buffalo, herds of elk, grizzly and black bears, moose, and many other animals. Yellowstone National Park spans an area of 3,468.4 square miles, comprising Yellowstone Canyon, waterfalls, hot springs, pools, mud pots, and spectacular geysers, such as Old Faithful. Fueled by sources of heat very close to the surface, Yellowstone Lake is one of the largest high-altitude lakes in North America and is centered over the Yellowstone Caldera, the largest super volcano on the continent.Half of the world’s geothermal features are in Yellowstone, fueled by this ongoing volcanism. Lava flows and rocks from volcanic eruptions cover most of the land area of Yellowstone. The Yellowstone Park Bison Herd is the oldest and largest public bison herd in the United States. Overnight closeby the area.

DAY 18. YELLOWSTONE PARK / GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK / IDAHO FALLS

It’s time to meet one of Wyoming’s most stunning destinations—Grand Teton National Park. Located south of Yellowstone National Park and north of the town of Jackson, Grand Teton’s 310,000 acres includes lush valley floors, mountain meadows, alpine lakes and the rising peaks of the Teton Range. While iconic locations like Mormon Row and the Moulton Barns may be the most photographed destinations in the park, Grand Teton’s celestial peaks also provide the perfect setting for nature lovers, outdoor adventurers and road trippers who are looking to explore the park’s incredible landscapes. We then drive towards Idaho Falls for our overnight stay.

DAY 19 IDAHO FALLS / SALT LAKE CITY

Prior to leading Idaho Falls, we drop by Bear Lake for a visit. Bear Lake is a natural freshwater lake on the Utah-Idaho border in the Western United States. About 109 square miles in size, it is split about equally between the two states; its Utah portion comprises the second-largest natural freshwater lake in Utah. After lunch we continue our drive towards Salt Lake City.

DAY 20. SALT LAKE CITY / LOS ANGELES / MELBOURNE

After a well deserved rest, we enjoy a city tour of Salt Lake City. From its early days as a mining and railroad town, Salt Lake City has emerged as the commercial and cultural hub for a large area of the western mountain region and the uniqueness of the Great Salt Lake also make the city a prominent tourist attraction. In the afternoon we head to Salt Lake City airport for our domestic flight to Los Angeles airport. After a short transit we board our Qantas flight bound for home.
