Day 1 - MELBOURNE/SYDNEY/VANCOUVER

Today, we make our way to Vancouver with Air Canada (via Sydney) - sit back and relax and not long you'll arrive into this amazing city. Upon arrival, your trusty local guide will be on hand to greet you and our first stop will be Granville Island (own lunch) follwed by Stevenston Fisherman's Wharf. Early check in hotel for freshen up and then dinner at local chinese restaurant.

Day 2 - VANCOUVER ISLAND

Today, we take the BC Ferry across the strait of Georgia to British Columbia Provincial Capital, Victoria which is located on Vancouver Island. Here, we will visit the oldest Chinatown in Canada, the Legislative building and the national historic site, Empress Hotel. We will also have entry to the famous Butchart Gardens, home to hudreds of varieties of flowers. Back to Vancouver in the afternoon.

Day 3 - VANCOUVER/YELLOWKNIFE

After a relaxing morning, we head over to Vancouver airport for our short flight to Yellowknife in preparation for an amazing escape to view the famous Aurora Northern lights. We anticipate to arrive in the late afternoon and after checking into our hotel, will have our dinner together.

Day 4 - YELLOWKNIFE AND AURORA VIEWING

For our first full day in Yellowknife, enjoy a boat trip and fishing on the Great Slave Lake, the second biggest lake in Canada after the Great Bear Lake. Enjoy a traditional fish fry meal on the island and then back to hotel and then dinner locally. This evening, we make our way to the Aurora station at night. We invite you to enjoy Aurora Borealis viewing in a comfort, cozy Aurora Station with 360 degrees sky-deck observatory in the Arctic. Hot beverages and snacks are served.

Day 5 - YELLOWKNIFE AND ABORIGINAL VILLAGE

After breakfast, our group will go on a relaxing hike through the Cameron Falls Trail east of Yellowknife. The path twists through evergreen forests, across boardwalks. Take photos of the breathtaking scenery and let the nature clean your mind and relax your body. Afterwards, we stop into a glass workshop to learn about the history of this unique glass-etching business and studio, and watch their staff turn a wine bottle into a piece of stunning glassware. Our group can also try their hand at making amazing handcrafted glassware - Animals, landscapes and Northern Lights are the inspiration. Tonight for our second Aurora viewing, we drive from Yellowknife City to Dettah (Dene Community) on the ice road to spend 4 hrs on the shore line of Great Slave lake with wood stove cabin to view the spectacular Northern Lights. Enjoy authentic northern snacks and hot beverages whilst admiring a traditional drumming performance.

Day 6 - YELLOWKNIFE/VANCOUVER

Before we head back to Vancouver this afternoon, we will have a chance to explore beautiful Yellowknife city. Visits to Legislative Assembly, Northern Heritage Prince of Wales Museum, Frontier Visitor Centre. A scenic drive through downtown and iconic Old Town to the Pilot's Monument where you can overlook the view of Yellowknife City. Late afternoon our flight will take us back into Vancouver and back to hotel for rest in which the next day we will wake our way to the Rocky mountains.

Day 7 - VANCOUVER/KAMLOOPS/CLEARWATER

This morning we drive to Hope, located in the Frazer Valley which was famous for Sylvester Stallone's Rambo movie, 'First Blood'. We then stop into the city of Kamloops, which is the Ginseng capital of Canada. Afterwards our journey will take us into Wells Gray Provincial Park - here we visit Helmcken Falls, Spahats Falls and Dawson Falls. Tonight, we spend the night in Clearwater.

Day 8 - CLEARWATER/JASPER/HINTON

After our breakfast we will visit Mount Robson, the second oldest park in British Columbia. It is truly one of the world’s crown jewels and has the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Other highlights today include Jasper National Park to visit Medicine Lake, Maligne Lake and Maligne Canyon. Overnight in the township of Hinton.

Day 9 - HINTON/ICEFIELD PARKWAY/BANFF

A very busy day is arranged for our group today and serves as one of the highlights on this trip! Stops include Athabasca Falls, Bow Lake, Crowfoot Glacier and Banff National Park. Not to mention, we will also drop into Columbia Ice Field and hop onto a giagantic Ice Explorer and walk along the Skywalk. Tonight, we settle into the sleepy township of Banff, often regarded as Little Switzerland.

Day 10 - BANFF/LAKE LOUISE/BANFF

This morning we ride a gondola up Sulphur Mountain and from the viewing platform at an altitude of 2,350 meters, you will have a magical 360 degree view of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Other stops today include Bow River Falls and Lake Moraine. Another highlight of this tour is Lake Louise- known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a stately chateau. We also invite you to walk along the scenic trail of Johnston Canyon - The views here are truly remarkable. Back to Banff Town in the evening.

Day 11 - BANFF/GOLDEN/SALMON ARM

We depart Banff this morning and make our way towards Vernon. Stops today include Emerald Lake, Natural bridge, Rogers Pass and the site of the Last Spike. The Last Spike is a historical site symbolling the completion of Canadian Pacific Railway dated back in 1885.

Day 12 - SALMON ARM/KELOWNA/VANCOUVER

As we finally exit the Rocky Mountains and make our way back to Vancouver, we'll firstly drop into the city of Kelowna - located in Okanagan Valley, on the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake surrounded by provincial parks, pine forest, vineyards, orchards and mountains. Have a chance to drop into bee farm to check out the local produce. We'll visit Okanagan Lake, Okanagan Valley and spend a bit of time in the city town. We will also get a chance to visit Summerhill Winery - Canada's largest organic winery for a free tasting of its' award-winning red and white ice wines. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day 13 - VANCOUVER CITY TOUR

A full day to explore Vancouver as your guide will take you on a city tour! Highlights today include Stanley Park, Totem Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Queen Elizabeth Park, Chinatown and also Gas town. Tonight, we will have our final group dinner before we board our Royal Caribbean cruise the next day.

Day 14 - VANCOUVER/BOARD CRUISE

Free time in the morning until our scheduled time to board the Brilliance of the Seas cruiseship. Once on board, enjoy lunch and your tour leader will provide more information on what can be done whilst on the beautiful cruiseship.

Day 15 - AT SEA

A whole day on the cruise ship where you have a chance to explore the wonderful facilities on offer.. Watch out for whales, seals, porpoises, sea otters and much more as you cruise along at sea!! Overnight stay on cruise.

Day 16 - ARRIVE SITKA (ALASKA)

Sitka truly offers the best of Alaska. Its small-town appeal stems from a unique blend of Russian, Tlingit and American history. Its snow-capped peaks and volcanic Mount Edgecumbe pose among the state’s most postcard-worthy scenes. Whether it’s hiking Baranof Island trails or listening to tribal stories passed down for generations, in Sitka the midnight sun never sets on adventure.

Day 17 - ARRIVE JUNEAU (ALASKA)

With its snowcapped mountains, misty rainforests, massive glaciers and bounty of wildlife, Alaska’s remote state capital is the perfect place to dive into nature. Framed by Mount Juneau and Mount Roberts, the city’s picturesque central area offers centuries-old bars, boutique shops and historical landmarks.

Day 18 - ARRIVE HAINES (ALASKA)

Located less than 70 miles north of Juneau, along the continent’s longest and deepest fjord, Haines offers endless activities for intrepid explorers.

Day 19 - TRACY ARM FJORD (ALASKA) - AT SEA

Tracy Arm Fjord extends over 30 miles alongside the wilderness of Tongass National Forest. Sailing through this deep and narrow passage delivers some of the most breathtaking scenery you’ll find in Alaska. See active glaciers carved into 7,000-foot-tall mountain peaks and plunging waterfalls burrowed into evergreen-clad cliffs. Glimpse native wildlife and watch deep blue icebergs float past the ship.

Day 20 - AT SEA

Day 21 - VANCOUVER/SYDNEY

The Brillance of the Seas arrives into Vancouver this morning and after disembarkation, your Vancouver guide will help you use up some time before our late night flight back home. First stop is McArthurGlen shopping outlet for a few hours of retail therapy followed by Grouse mountain and cable car ride in the afternoon. After our farewell dinner, we head to the airport for our scheduled flight with Air Canada departing late at night (around 10:40pm).

Day 23 - SYDNEY/MELBOURNE

Your overnight flight arrives back into Sydney this morning and not long after, you will board your connecting flight back to Melbourne. We hope you had an incredible journey and hope to see you again.
