The Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis are a spectacular natural phenomenon characterized by vibrant displays of colourful lights in the night sky, primarily green, but also featuring purples, reds, and yellows. This phenomenon occurs when charged particles from the sun collide with gases in Earth’s atmosphere, resulting in the stunning light displays.
IMPORTANT:
The Northern Lights are a naturally occurrence and not “guaranteed”, but hopefully by travelling to this region during September/October will give us an opportunity to view it.
